Education and Access

From OUDS

Welcome to the Education & Access page of the OUDS website. Thea Warren and Laura Williams are the E&A officers for 2009/10 and are hoping to foster links between OUDS and local schools through a new and revitalised programme.

Aims for this year include:

- establishing a mailing list to inform schools of upcoming shows or events.

- organise a 'Shakespeare Day' in MT09 for secondary school students featuring a performance of 'Othello' and a workshop with the director and cast, as well as other activities.

- give local pupils an insight into how drama works as an extra-curricular activity at Oxford, and the opportunities for actors, writers, directors and crew.

Oxford directors/producers and local teachers are welcome to get in touch with us to register their interest in any of these schemes.
