"Technical Theatre for Producers & Directors: what do you need to know to put on a show"

Thursday 7th week Hilary, 11am, Far From the Madding Crowd

TAFF will be running a workshop/ Q & A session for directors and producers (confirmed or potential) to discuss what it might be helpful for you to know or think about for your production. Whether you are putting on a BT show or bidding for the Playhouse, this is a chance for you to ask us questions, and work out what your technicians are hoping that you already know or have considered.

From what you need to know about your tech run, how much should you be spending on lighting, to why the DSM isn't your Deputy Stage Manager, this will cover all those things that you should discuss with your PM - or why you might want to get one! This workshop wont be about rigging lights or coiling cables, but how to work with your technical team to put on a successful show.
