Membership :: Access All Areas

In the past there has been some confusion over OUDS membership and quite what makes someone an OUDS member. At Freshers' Fair, a number of students will sign up to both the OUDS mailing list, and the University Drama Officer's (UDO) mailing list. The latter entitles you to a weekly 'pidgeon post' mail-out from the UDO detailing what productions are showing that week, as well as some other useful information. However, receiving this does not mean that you are a member of OUDS. Nor does signing up to the initial OUDS mailing list, which simply enables us to keep you updated in the first week or so of term when our Press & Publicity Officer will email you any news and details of talks and workshops and of course, encourage you to join the society!! However, after these initial emails, you will be required to register online to become a member of OUDS so that among other benefits, you can receive the weekly OUDSMail. Once a member, you can have total access to the site, allowing you to view advertised auditions or other jobs in the Jobcentre, search our Member Directory and even post your own online Theatrical CV or advertise auditions and shows which you are involved in.

In short, you are not an OUDS Member unless you have registered on the website using your Webmail/Herald username.
